Ilsur Metshin inspects the renovated kindergarten No.395

Two nursery groups, a group for children with disabilities, a theater studio and a laboratory for plants were equipped in the kindergarten.

The renovation of the kindergarten No.395 of the combined type, which is located on Serova Street, has been completed. After the renovation, the design capacity of the preschool increased to 280 places, two nursery groups and one group for children with disabilities were opened. Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor of the capital of the republic of Tatarstan, inspected the renovation and talked with the designers who developed the project of the renovated preschool and the head of the kindergarten.

“I am amazed! Every visit to a kindergarten, you think about what else you can improve and create. But your work impressed me, well done! – I. Metshin thanked the designers. – When both designers and management unite in the desire to make something beautiful, there is a plane of thought. I used to associate kindergartens with a kind of melancholy, a little burnt porridge and waiting for my parents to come. But here everything is completely different. I wish kids to grow up happy in new comfortable conditions. There is everything necessary here. Let the children bring this happiness outside a kindergarten, to their families and to our city, so that we have the happiest city. On the eve of the New Year, it would be a good gift to residents and children.”

Renovation started in spring in a two-story brick facility built in 1988 with an area 2,500 square meters. The roof and façade were replaced, as well as entrance groups and utilities, windows, reinforced load-bearing structures, the territory was landscaped, shade canopies and small architectural forms were installed.

The head of the administration of the Kirovsky and Moskovsky districts, Sergey Mironov informed the Mayor the interior design is based on natural elements. There are sand drawings on the walls, conveying the atmosphere of the beach, and images of birds of the native land.

“Now children are smarter. But it is very important that the child understands what ecology is, loves and protects nature. Caring for others, pets, plants and yourself also begins with a careful attitude to nature,”- explained the head of the kindergarten, Landysh Yarullina.

The preschool has music and physical education halls, a theater studio, a methodical room, an office of a teacher-psychologist, medical, massage and physiotherapy rooms, as well as a food hall and a laundry.

Kindergarten No.395 is designed for 12 groups. At the moment, children do not attend it and are waiting for the opening of a preschool. They were distributed to nearby preschool institutions of the district at the time of renovation.

For reference, the kindergarten No.395 took second place in the nomination “The best renovated facility” at the Kazanysh architectural and construction forum, which was organized last week at the Uram Extreme Park by the Institute of City Development on the initiative of the Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin.

In total, there are 312 preschools in the capital of the republic of Tatarstan, which are attended by 76,300 children. The coverage of preschool education is estimated at 69%. The occupancy rate of groups in kindergartens is 104 children per 100 places.

There are 39 kindergartens in the Moskovsky district of Kazan. Preschool education covers more than 6,400 children.
