The construction of the main heating line – 5 will ensure the reliability of heat supply in the Sovetsky and Privolzhsky city districts

Construction of the main heating line – 5 from Thermal Power Plant-1 to the Gorki district boiler house is underway in Kazan. The commissioning of this pipeline will ensure an uninterrupted supply of heat not to residents of the Azino and Gorky neighborhoods, as well as for residential complexes and social facilities located along Rodina, A. Kutuy and Daurskaya streets. This year, construction work is underway on a section from school № 79 to the intersection of Rodina Street with A.Kutuy Street. The Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin inspected the progress of construction.

“One of the most significant projects of Kazan Heating Networks, which has been long-awaited, is the new heating line over nine kilometers in length. The Gorky and Azino boiler houses are currently undergoing capacity conversion, and the construction of the heating pipeline will improve their workload and improve the reliability of heat supply in Sovetsky and Privolzhsky city districts. It is encouraging to see that modern neighborhoods are now taking the place of abandoned warehouses in this area,” – Ilsur Metshin noted.

Roman Fatkhutdinov, the head of the administration of the Sovetsky district, Ilsur Khismatullin, the chairman of the city's housing and utilities committee, and others participated in the inspection.
