I. Metshin about the message of the President of the RT: “We are ready to fulfill the tasks we set”

<p> (KZN.RU, September 24). Today, Rustam Minnikhanov, the President of the RT, made an annual Address to the State Council of the RT, during which he outlined the main guidelines for the further development of the republic. Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor of Kazan, commenting on the message, noted the importance of realizing current and new social programs in the republic in difficult economic conditions. </p> <p> </p> <p> “The main thing that we heard: in the conditions of ongoing sanctions, the turbulence of the world economy, Tatarstan continues sustainable development”, said the Mayor of Kazan. “There is a lot of creation, many programs are realized, including in Kazan, which have no analogs in the Russian Federation. They are all important, we needed them for a long time”. Thus, a 3-year program to upd ate suburban children's camps will start in the republic next year. According to I. Metshin, the republican programs cover different directions of the republic's social policy, and the President of the RT, who personally supervises the implementation of these programs, is at the head of this process. </p> <p> </p> <p> “2019 is important for us. This is the year of the 100th anniversary of our republic, we will host the WorldSkills World Cup. Of course, we are prepared, just had the World Cup”, said the Mayor. “Each new event is a new level of responsibility, a new scale and, most importantly, new competencies that remain in the city. Therefore, we are ready to fulfill the tasks we se t”. </p> <p> </p> <p> Today, Rustam Minnikhanov announced 2019 in Tatarstan as the Year of Working Professions. </p> <p> </p> <p> The event was held at the Great State Concert Hall named after S. Saidashev, About 600 people took part in it: members of the Government of the RT, heads of municipalities, institutions, and enterprises of the republic, representatives of the public, and others. </p>
