Ilsur Metshin on the renovation of the kindergarten №163: “The idea is simple, but this is the first time I've seen this in 25 years of work as Mayor”

<p> The renovation has been completed in kindergarten № 163 with the Tatar language of education in the Privolzhsky city district. The institution, designed for 150 children, equipped music and sports halls and a sports playground. Thanks to the work carried out, theater and ART studios with training in the Tatar language will be opened in the kindergarten, artists of the Kariev theater will be engaged in education. It is also planned to establish cooperation with the children's theater studio Apush, functioning under the patronage of the Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin. </p> <p> Over the past ten years, 93 kindergartens have been renovated in the city, and this year it is planned to repair seven institutions. Work has already been completed in six of them. Today, when visiting the kindergarten № 163, Ilsur Metshin noted that it is important to saturate the institution with ideological content. </p> <p> “Creating conditions for small Kazan residents is very important. Seven renovated preschool education institutions will be added to the four new schools that we have handed over this year, to the renovated summer camps and teen clubs. Over the past ten years, we have managed to renovate 93 kindergartens. It is also very important to have a teachers’ staff that loves children. It is important to provide additional education in different areas,”- Ilsur Metshin said. </p> <p> In the facility built in 1981 on Akademika Zavoyskogo Street, the renovation took two years. During the renovation from 2022 to 2023, workers completely renovated the roof, facade, utilities, entrance group, waterproofing the basement walls, installed new windows, repaired bathrooms and utility block. </p> <p> Alongside with the overhaul of the building, the territory next to the kindergarten was landscaped – a sportsground and playground appeared on the site of the wasteland, where physical education classes will be held. A small vegetable garden was also equipped for kindergarten students, shade canopies were installed, and the walking area was decorated with small architectural forms. </p> <p> When developing the interior design project, special attention was paid to the storage area of the clothes. Additional hangers for outerwear appeared on the lockers, and under them – shelves for shoes, combined with a battery. A separate sitting place is provided for each child in the locker room. </p> <p> “An interesting solution is that the shoes are dried and stored at the bottom of the locker. Everyone has their own place, it is very convenient. The idea is simple, but it's the first time I've seen this in 25 years as Mayor,”- the Mayor said. </p> <p> The education of children is conducted in the Tatar language in the kindergarten № 163. The institution is designed for 150 children. </p> <p> A special feature of the kindergarten will be the theater studios in the Tatar language “Akiyatt kunakta” (Visiting the fairy tale) and “Akiyat donyasy” (The World of fairy tales), the art studio “Akiyat khuallary” (Fabulous dreams). It is planned to involve artists of the Kariev theater to work with children. </p>
