The Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin receives an authority to represent the capital of Tatarstan at the BRICS+ Association of Cities and Municipalities. This was announced at an extraordinary 38^th session of the Kazan City Duma of the fourth convocation today.

The city's deputies entrusted Ilsur Metshin with this responsibility in order to promote international and foreign economic cooperation. “I would like to thank you for your confidence and I will do my best to represent our city appropriately at the BRICS+ Association of Cities and Municipalities,”- the Mayor said.

The deputies approved the new composition of the third convocation of the Kazan Youth Parliament, in connection with the expiry of the previous term.

These 25 new members of Parliament will make recommendations on addressing the issues of young citizens, control the implementation of important issues, and deal with a wide range of challenges.
