<p> (KZN.RU, August 25, Ekaterina Vislavskaya). The Yudino settlement not just radically changed on the eve of its 100th anniversary, but gained a good reserve for its future development. Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor of Kazan, said this at the staff meeting in the Executive Committee. The Mayor called the 100th anniversary of Yudino an important and major event of the city. “Yudino has a glorious past, a good present, and a great future”, he said. </p> <p> </p> <p> Sergey Mironov, the head of the Kirovsky and Moskovsky districts’ administration, told about the program of celebrating at the staff meeting. He noted that the celebration of the anniversary takes more than one day. A radical transformation has begun in the settlement. 23 roads were repaired for a total of more than 160 million rubles, 17 home territories for 50 million rubles, a pavement with lighting fr om the village to the stadium “Lokomotiv’ for 8 million rubles was made. Painting of facades and repair of roofing of houses for more than 150 million rubles is continuing. “All these changes were appreciated by the inhabitants of the village”, said Sergey Mironov. </p> <p> </p> <p> Now the house of culture is being transferred to the municipal property. On August 29, the construction of the ice arena “Yudino” will start. The preparation of the project of the teenage and youth center “Stantsiya” for 1.5 thousand square meters is continuing. The reconstruction of the stadium “Lokomotiv” started. Yudino residents themselves also take part in the transformation of their settlement. Thus, on August 18 the second big subbotnik took place in Yudino. More than 150 tons of garbage was collected and exported. </p> <p> </p> <p> “There have been tremendous changes in Yudino, especially this summer. A lot of objects have been repaired, a huge amount of work has been done. It is important that we are making a serious contribution to the development of the settlement”, said Ilsur Metshin and expressed gratitude to Rustam Minnikhanov, the President of the RT, for making a decision on updating the settlement’s infrastructure. </p> <p> </p> <p> There was a time for Yudino when industrial enterprises were going through hard times, the sports complexes, the House of Culture “Zheleznodorozhnikov”, the Pioneer's House were sold down. However, social facilities are now being restored. “A lot of problems are being solved, which lead Yudino to a whole new level. Our long-standing dream to remove the inequality of the districts, when the center is different from Derbyshki, Yudino and others, is being realized. Today it is completely different: a comfortable, safe, most environmentally clean area for living”, concluded the Mayor. He urged the citizens to join the celebration. </p> <p> </p> <p> The main festive venue on August 29 will be the square at the House of Culture “Zheleznodorozhnikov”. There will be a concert, sports and interactive grounds, a food court, trade and fair, wh ere large families will receive discounts. A separate entertainment program for children is prepared. </p> <p> </p> <p> Alvin Gray and Stas Kostyushkin will perform along with local artists the band “Veselye Volgari”, the trio “Zu-Layi-Lya”, the band “Silfred crew” and “Miami Dance”. In addition, the finalists of the public karaoke contest “The Voice of Our Team, the Voice of Our Yard!” will appear on the stage. It was started in Kirovsky and Moskovsky districts three years ago, and this year became citywide. More than 500 people took part in the qualifying stage, which took place on August 16. The final of the district stage was held yesterday. The holiday in honor of the 100th anniversary of Yudino will end with a salute. </p>
