<p> The Made in Kazan forum has opened in the capital of Tatarstan. The Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin welcomed the participants of the forum – entrepreneurs and top managers of companies who will act as experts in 11 sectors of the economy. About 100 entrepreneurs take part in the forum. </p> <p> This year, the forum is dedicated to the principles of creation a confidence economy and, in addition to the usual communication with high–level experts, provides for a global mind format - a brainstorming session. The Mayor of Kazan noted that in the present economic situation, the country is facing a new challenge. “I meet with businessmen, visit enterprises, and it turned out that we need another brainstorming session, we need to find solutions on emerging issues, – I.Metshin said. – We have passed through the first shock, at such meetings we need to find solutions concerning our future development. It is not the end of the world. We are realistic, we face many challenges, but there are windows of opportunity. Fortunately, Kazan and Tatarstan have a safety margin”. </p> <p> The Mayor of Kazan cited a conversation with Nail Maganov, CEO of PAO Tatneft, as an example of the importance of expert opinion for decision-making about the situation on the world oil market. When asked what would happen if other countries replaced Russia in the oil market, whose share is slightly more than 20 percent, Nail Maganov replied that Russian oil could be replaced only by 10 percent, even if the embargo was lifted from Iran, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia. This information, as Ilsur Metshin said, has become an important starting point for understanding the sustainability of the situation and making decisions regarding projects implemented in the city. </p> <p> I.Metshin told about the history of the forum. “The first forum was held in 2010, we have a great desire to organize it. After we attended an educational forum in Singapore and heard many interesting ideas, we then moved this platform to Kazan. Then speakers from all over the world came to us. In this collaboration, we were looking for the future of Kazan, and I was impressed with the number of people who want to change themselves and the world around them”, – he noted. </p> <p> The leadership of Tatarstan has always been actively engaged in the development of the economy, I.Metshin emphasized. “Kazan has a unique opportunity. We will discuss at the forum what the opportunity is and what need to be done by the business community, our government, the city and the federal government”, – the Mayor said and wished everyone successful work at the forum. </p> <p> Oleg Vyugin, Chair of the Board of Directors of MDM Bank, Independent Director of the Moscow Stock Exchange, Nail Maganov, CEO and member of the Board of Directors of PAO Tatneft, business partnerships expert, independent legal adviser, executive &amp; team coach, system business consultant Natalia Belzer also addressed the participants of the event. </p> <p> Among the moderators of the industry tables are the founder of the international online service Uremont, the head of the public reception of the Commissioner for the Protection of the Rights of Entrepreneurs in Moscow in the South-Eastern Administrative district Artur Terisayan, co-founder and CEO of Kazan Express Linar Khusnullin, CEO of AO SEZ PPT Alabuga, Deputy of the Tatarstan State Council Timur Shagivaleyev and others. </p>
