Ilsur Metshin: “We perceive this as true heroism and courage”

<p> Ilsur Metshin congratulated the patients of the military hospital on the upcoming Defender of the Fatherland Day and presented them with gifts. Over the past 10 months, about three thousand patients were served in the hospital, and today 450 participants of the special operation are being treated there. Among the patients are servicemen from all over Tatarstan, Mari El and Chuvashia. The head of the city inspected the hospital wards and talked with patients. </p> <p> Kazan Military Hospital on R. Gareeva Street was opened in September 2022. Its construction took one year. The total area of the facility is 5 hectares, and the hospital area is 33 thousand square meters. The first three floors are occupied by a polyclinic, a medical and diagnostic unit, on the fourth floor there are surgery and intensive care units. The capacity of the hospital is 230 beds. </p> <p> The Mayor spoke with one of the hospital's patients, who is being treated after receiving a shrapnel injury. “I'm recovering from my injury. They took out the fragments, now I need to be examined by a neurologist. The family is worried about how the treatment will proceed. They support us as much as they can,”- he shared with the mayor. </p> <p> “We are closely monitoring what is happening in the special operation zone. This is already commonplace for you, but we perceive it as true heroism and courage. We express our respect and gratitude to you,”- the Mayor addressed the fighter. Ilsur Metshin gave gifts to all patients of the hospital. </p>
