<p> Applications for the fifth internship program at the Kazan Mayor’s Office started in the capital of the republic of Tatarstan. Students of universities and colleges of the city can participate in the program. Applications are accepted until March 1 via the website of the HR Office. After the interviews, 30 of the most active and motivated students will have the opportunity to study the urban processes and will be able to offer their ideas for the development of Kazan. Irina Bochkova, Deputy Chief of Staff of the Executive Committee and Head of the HR Department, announced this at the Business Monday meeting. </p> <p> «We started this project in order to open the door to the city administration to young people, so that they would see that we are at a handshake distance from each other, – said the Mayor of the city Ilsur Metshin. – Last year, the interest in internships at the Mayor's Office was very high. And it is very important that there is a consolidation of students who came and joined the big Kazan team». </p> <p> The Mayor emphasized that new approaches in the work of HR policies show good results – more and more young people are showing interest in working in the municipal service. «We are open to ambitious young people who want to take part in the life of the city, change the life around them for the better and participate in big projects that change the city, the urban environment and people's lives. Therefore, we are ready not only to hire them, but we are ready to entrust them with new and responsible areas of work», – Ilsur Metshin said. </p>
