Ilsur Metshin: “We believe our residents would be pleased by the improved yard and boulevard”

The complex of yards on Serova st. and Blukhera st. will be improved

Renovation of yards under the Our Yard republican program continues in Kazan. Construction work has begun in the yard of nine apartment buildings along Serova st. and Blukhera st. in the Moskovsky city district. Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor of Kazan, took part in a meeting with residents and discussed the progress of the work.

The yard improvement under the Our Yard republican program started at the boulevard along Serova street back in 2022.

“We are visiting a yard on Serova street, where 13 houses' yards were landscaped in previous years, and this year nine more houses with 1,800 residents are being landscaped. We believe our residents would be pleased by the improved yard and boulevard,”- said Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor of Kazan.

At the request of residents living at 17 and 19 Serova Street, a new sidewalk will be laid there. In addition, 53 lighting poles, 23 benches, two sun loungers, and 18 trash cans will be installed in the yards. Instead of chaotic parking, parking spaces will be marked for 156 cars, seven of which will be added.

Kazanorgsintez will carry out the ecological rehabilitation of the artificial pond on the boulevard. The boulevard is being improved under the federal project “Comfortable Urban Environment” as part of the national project “Life Infrastructure”. The boulevard on Serova Street was included in the list of the best landscaping projects in 2024.
