Ilsur Metshin: “Kazan Legal Forum brought together very noble experts for the first time”

<p> The 2^nd Kazan International Legal Forum was highly appreciated by the participants and guests of the event. The event took place in the capital of the republic of Tatarstan on 27 - 28September. Its program included 40 sessions in various areas. </p> <p> The forum was attended by representatives of 30 cities of Russia and 10 countries, more than 600 experts in total. Among them were those who implement state policy in the field of justice at the highest level, these are the Russian Minister of Justice Konstantin Chuichenko, Chairman of the State Duma Committee on State Construction and Legislation Pavel Krasheninnikov, President of the Federal Notary Chamber Konstantin Korsik, Director of the Institute of Legislation and Comparative Law under the Government of the Russian Federation Taliya Khabrieva, rectors of state universities and deans of law faculties. </p> <p> “For the first time, the Kazan forum brought together noble experts in law and legislation. The Russian Minister of Justice highly appreciated the event. I was very pleased not only with the geography and quantity, but also with the quality: many heads of legal services and companies that work, as they say, on the ground, business representatives participated – it is very important that there is no separation of police-making from real life,”- the Mayor said. </p> <p> “It is important that science and law-making in the person of Pavel Krasheninnikov and in the person of Konstantin Chuichenko heard the issues that concern different sectors of the real economy. I was pleased with the presentation of the business of law firms, what they care about is already undergoing legal examination at the Institute of Construction Legislation and Jurisprudence in order to enter the Government, the State Duma of the Russian Federation,”- the Mayor said. </p> <p> “We are pleased that the forums that are held with our support are quoted among professionals. This is very important, we will continue to support and find new forms of interaction,”- Ilsur Metshin summed up. </p>
