A repair shop, an administrative building, and a warehouse for reagents are being constructed at the new “Urban landscaping” facility

The construction of a new facility of the Municipal Unitary Enterprise “Urban landscaping” is continuing on Vorovskogo street in Kazan. The area of the new facility is 2.4 hectars will be equipped with a repair block, administrative building, and warehouse for regents. The Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin inspected the progress of the work. “Landscaping companies play a crucial role in maintaining the city's infrastructure. The area being cleaned by road and street services is constantly increasing. For the first time since the Soviet era, a new facility is being built for “Urban landscaping”, the previous one was constructed more than 40 years ago. It no longer meets the needs of the modern enterprise, all the equipment and facilities were outdated, and the conditions for employees were in poor condition,”- the Mayor said. The company's office on Grivskaya Street was opened more than 40 years ago. The construction of a new facility on Vorovskogo Street will to house 133 special vehicles. The new facility has twice the area of the old one, measuring 2.4 hectare. A checkpoint has been built as part of the first phase of construction work last year. Equipment will be stored inside the building, which can be dismantled during the off-season. Spare parts for equipment will also be stored here. The construction and installation work on the repair unit is ongoing on the site of the new facility. The building, with an area of 2,700 square meters, will consist of three sections. There will be three inspection pits in the main repair area, as well as welding, turning, and battery shops. The second section of the building will have a sink with a cleaning system for four cars. A third administrative area has been created for company employees. On three floors, there are changing rooms, shower rooms, bathrooms, as well as eating areas. A new administrative building with an area of 1,300 square meters is currently being constructed on the site. Two warehouses with a total area of 7,000 square meters are under construction to store reagents and sand-salt mixtures. The design for the project was developed by Kazan Development Institute. Up to 9 special vehicles and 60 employees are involved in the construction work on a daily basis.
