<p> The Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin held the meeting of the working group on urban development in the historic district of Kazan. Twenty-two projects were discussed that investors had planned for construction in the city's center. During the meeting, the commission discussed projects for the construction of a new building for the Kazan City Development Institute, reconstruction of the TSUM building, construction of the Alina Zagitova figure skating center on Portovaya Street, commercial and office building on Nekrasova Street and a hotel on Zaini Sultana Street. </p> <p> Residential development projects were discussed as well. The concept for building an area of 4.5 hectares in the Kirovsky city district was presented by Ruben Arakelyan, head of the WALL architectural bureau. All projects received positive reviews from the working group. </p> <p> The meeting was attended by Olesya Baltusova, Aide to the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan and Azat Nigmatzyanov, First Deputy Head of the Executive Committee of Kazan, and others. </p>
