I. Metshin: “Test match is an opportunity to work out in detail the interaction of all structures”

The head of the city instructed to work out all the patterns for organizing the match at the “general rehearsal”.

The test match, which will be held today at the Kazan Arena stadium between football clubs “Rubin” and “Ufa”, is an opportunity to work out in detail all variants of the events’ development, the interaction of all structures on the eve of the World Cup, said Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor of Kazan, at the Business Monday.

“We know the significance of such general rehearsals. Perhaps, better than other cities-organizers of the World Cup. But we need to once again meticulously work out the whole scenario. Therefore, I ask all responsible leaders today to take it seriously, to take personal part and work out all the questions, all the arrangements for the match. Fr om the arrival of fans, the work of checkpoints to the end of the match and the moment when the fans and guests leave the stadium”, marked the Mayor and added that this will require clear co-ordination from all involved structures.

On May 7, a football match will be held between the teams “Rubin” and “Ufa”. It is planned to test all the activities of all systems in the territory adjacent to the stadium (the so-called “last mile”) and the work of all services of the stadium. Residents and guests of the capital of Tatarstan can attend the match free of charge. Also, it is planned to lim it the traffic and change the traffic route due to the match.
