I. Metshin: “May the Easter Sunday bring happiness and inspiration”

The Mayor of Kazan congratulated Orthodox Kazan citizens on Easter.

(KZN.RU, April 27). Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor of Kazan, congratulated the Orthodox citizens on Easter.

“I wholeheartedly congratulate Orthodox Kazan citizens on Easter!

Like many years ago, this bright day symbolizes spring and hope, promotes spiritual enrichment and unity of people. It awakens the noblest feelings and thoughts in hearts, inspires good deeds and actions. Easter days bring love and patience to families, urge to take care of loved ones, be merciful to strangers.

The Orthodox Church in Kazan conducts constructive work aimed at strengthening moral traditions in society, solving important social problems, harmonizing interfaith and interethnic relations, preserving the richest historical and cultural heritage, reviving shrines.

May the Easter Sunday fill the soul with warmth and joy, give happiness and inspiration. On this great holiday, I sincerely wish all the Orthodox citizens health, peace, and harmony!” says the greeting.
