Eleven residential complexes are planned to be built in the Sovetsky district, and an embankment at the river port will be improved.
Today, Ilsiyar Tukhvatullina, the chief architect of Kazan, shared the plans for development in accordance with the site planning in the new growth areas of the city at the Business Monday.
“The site planning is the basis that provides for a clear understanding of the balance of housing, social facilities, road infrastructure, landscaped areas and public spaces. This is a plan reflecting the growth potential of the site”, - the head of the city noted.
“But a plan is not enough, we need investments for construction and clear urban planning solutions, which we are discussing with developers, residents and architects, - I. Metshin said. - This allows us to implement a clear urban planning policy and transparent rules for all developers, ensuring the construction only in accordance with the planning project.” This, according to the Mayor, attracts the attention of third-party developers to Kazan.
Ilsiyar Tukhvatullina, the chief architect of Kazan, told more about the approved and developed projects of the site planning. “This year, Kazan continues the trend of implementing projects for the site planning, focusing on transport infrastructure facilities - urban roads”, - she said.
One of the large-scale projects is the construction of the Voznesensky tract, which will allow unloading the Mamadyshsky tract, Ershova Street, P. Lumumba and Kosmonavtov streets, which are currently overloaded with transit traffic out of the city. The new road will partially solve road problems in the villages of Voznesenskoye, Bolshye Klyki, Samosyrovo, Salmachi, Privolny, Vishnevka, Vesna and Sverlaya Dolina residential complexes.
I.Tukhvatullina reminded that this year the Tatarstan Cabinet of Ministers approved the second stage of the construction of the Voznesensky tract, on the site from Pobedy Avenue to the M7 Volga highway. This has led to the development of the adjacent territories of the Sovetsky district.
Traffic situation in the district will be improved by the construction of a highway along the P. Lumumba Street, on the site from A.Kamaleev to Nazib Zhiganov streets. “This will allow reducing time to get from the city center along the Mamadyshsky tract to the M7 highway”, -Ilsiyar Tukhvatullina noted.
As part of the construction of the Great Kazan Ring road this year, the Tatarstan Cabinet of Ministers approved the site planning of two sections of roads - along Tikhoretskaya Street from Tekhnicheskaya Street to Magistralnaya Street and along Mekhovshchikov Street from Magistralnaya Street to Devyataev Street.
Currently, a site planning of the territory bounded by Portovaya, Mekhovshchikov, Magistralnaya and Lesnaya Gavan streets is being developed. According to the chief architect of the city, a multifunctional development is planned here. It is planned to develop an embankment along the entire coastal zone.
To increase the pedestrian and transport connectivity, the project provides modern transport, bicycle and pedestrian links. In August of this year, the first stage has already been approved – the site planning of the territory bounded by Portovaya, Devyataev and Mekhovshchikov Streets.
In the western part of the city, a relief road of the Gorky Highway is under construction - from Nesmelova Street to the M7 highway near the Zaymishche village. Currently, the first stage of the road construction is being completed – from Nesmelova Street to the future eco-district.
By the end of the year, it is planned to approve the second stage of the project. The second stage of the road will serve the development of the territory of Kuzemetyevo and Zaimishche villages.
To solve transport problems in the southern part of Kazan, the Tatarstan Cabinet of Ministers approved a site planning this summer, providing for the reconstruction of the Kazan – Borovoe Matyushino highway in the territories of Kazan and Laishevsky district.
At the same time, in August of this year, a site planning of the territory of Peschanye Kovali was approved, the document provides for individual housing construction and social facilities.
In addition, next to the road to Borovoye Matyushino, an active development of a site planning and surveying the territory between the residential complexes Vremena Goda and Yuzhny Park is currently underway.
