The meeting of the working group on the construction and renovation of architectural venues at the historical settlement of Kazan was held at the Executive Committee of the city. The Mayor of the capital city of Tatarstan Ilsur Metshin held the meeting. During the discussion, the Mayor said that it is necessary to develop a unique standard of design and construction for developers.
Fifteen venues considered by the commission will be submitted for approval to Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov. The members of the working group considered the project of a hotel complex on Peterburgskaya street, an apartment building and a restaurant on Gayaz Iskhaki str., a car wash on 1 May street, buildings on Podluzhnaya str., 56, Gladilov str., 31, 53, Poperechno-Bazarnaya str., 1 May str. 1, 4, the reconstruction of a house on Bryusov str., 43. The projects of individual residential buildings on Karelskaya str., 51, Kyzyl Armeyskaya str., 37, reconstruction of gas stations on Proletarskaya street and the concept of building the site on Ostrovsky str., several sections on Klara Zetkin str., residential building on Nur Bayan street were also discussed during the meeting.
Only one project was not allowed to the presidential commission – a food market on Gayaz Iskhaki str. The developer is recommended to design a complex venue that will be combined with the surrounding architecture.
During the meeting, the Mayor emphasized that developers should not derogate from the approved and signed draft project during construction. “Now, thanks to all the events that have taken place in Kazan, interest in the city is growing, the level of requirements for aesthetics, design quality, and comfort of residents is increasing”, - Ilsur Metshin said.
