I. Metshin invited Kazan citizens to visit the sites of the WorldSkills Championship Kazan 2019

At the Business Monday, Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor of Kazan, said that Dmitry Medvedev, the Prime Minister of Russia, appreciated the organization and holding of the WorldSkills Kazan 2019, and recommended everyone to visit the international exhibition center “Kazan Expo”, the main site for the championship. The competitions of professional excellence will be finished tomorrow. </p> <p> </p> <p> From 22 to 27 of August, the 45th WorldSkills Championship takes place in Kazan. 1360 contestants from 63 countries attended it. 1294 experts evaluate their competitions in 56 competencies. </p> <p> </p> <p> Ilsur Metshin noted that the last four days have been very busy for Kazan. The capital of the RT has hosted guests, experts, and participants in the WorldSkills Championship. </p> <p> </p> <p> “The final day of the competition is coming. I recommend everyone to visit the site, do it with their colleagues, families, children. This is such a magnificent sight, which, unfortunately, will be finished tomorrow”, said I. Metshin. </p> <p> </p> <p> The Mayor reminded that the opening ceremony of the championship was held on August 22 at the stadium “Kazan Arena”. It was attended by Dmitry Medvedev, the Prime Minister of Russia, who appreciated the level of organization of the championship. “A serious delegation of colleagues from the federal government, ministries, departments, take part in the championship. Such competitions show the level of organization of WorldSkills and how this should be organized in industries. Dmitry Medvedev appreciated the organization and conduction of the championship”, concluded I. Metshin. </p> <p> </p> <p> The names of the winners of the championship will be known tomorrow at the closing ceremony, which will be held at the stadium “Kazan Arena”. The Russian team was represented by 63 young specialists, including 14 participants from Tatarstan at the competitions. </p>
