Alexander Blokhin, the director of the MC, told Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor of Kazan, about the positive results of this practice and about what interferes with the practice of separate collection of plastic during the report. The head of the city instructed the company to accelerate the pace of greening micro-districts and promised to take part in planting trees.

The OOO MC “Zhilische and Komfort” has been operating since 2006. It serves 101 houses in four districts of the city. Most of the houses are located in the Sovetsky district. The company's housing stock is very young and the houses do not require major repairs. Therefore, the MC use all forces for the current repair of entrances and other public places. Last year became the largest in terms of repair work. In total, 33138.3 square meters places of common use were repaired.

In the framework of this work, antimagnetic fillings are installed. The seals, which are fixed on the devices of accounting of living quarters, have already helped to identify several cases of theft of communal services and allowed to reduce the loss of resources at times. According to the speaker, as a result of this work, the volume of losses of the communal resource has significantly decreased.

The population of the served micro-districts is mainly young people and children (according to the speaker, about 80% of the residents). While improving yard areas, special attention is paid to the installation of sports equipment and the organization of playgrounds. At the same time, despite the fact that on average the period of operation of children's equipment is set at around 4-5 years, it wears out much earlier, 3 years maximum. According to the speaker, this is due to the heavy load on the equipment.

Separately, the speaker mentioned the technological program for the collection of PET bottles, in which the MC participates on an ongoing basis. For today, the company has installed 33 containers for the collection of PET bottles.

At the same time, A. Blokhin noted the disadvantages of the program. “Unfortunately, entrepreneurs carry out the export of bottles extremely irregularly. As a result, containers are often overfilled”, said the speaker. The Mayor supported the head of the company. He noted that citizens who actively joined the separate collection of garbage often complained about this problem. He instructed to work on this issue in order to establish more frequent and regular removals of collected PET bottles for recycling.

Also A. Blokhin spoke about the work of the MC aimed at greening micro-districts. In 2016, more than 12 thousand flowers, 197 trees and bushes were planted in the yards. Last year, more than 8 thousand flowers, 214 trees and bushes. This year, they added almost 13.5 thousand flowers and 60 bushes. On average, the MC planted from 200 to 250 trees a year, reported A. Blokhin.

Ilsur Metshin noted that these indicators are extremely low for the territory serviced by the company and instructed to strengthen work in this direction. “I'll point out this question to you. 200 trees are not enough for the 1 million 200 thousand square meters that you cover. You have a young housing, new buildings. You need not 200 but 2000 trees planted, and even this still would not be enough. There are a lot of young people living in the districts, high school students who can be attracted to this work, I am sure that they will willingly support this initiative”, said the Mayor and added that he personally will take part in the planting of new trees.

The head of the company promised to increase the pace of greening and invite the Mayor to these events.

In conclusion, A. Blokhin mentioned the issues of the population's debts for housing and communal services. “We are constantly working with bailiffs to collect debts, including arranging the apartments of debtors”, said the speaker. “Last year, 463 lawsuits were filed with the court for the amount of 28 million 850 thousand 112 rubles”. At the same time, the number of claims of citizens on issues of charging for housing and communal services for the year decreased by 62%, he added. Thanks to the collection of debts from the population, the debts of the MC to resource-supplying organizations are being paid.
