<p> The building of the recreational center was built by the Kazan Helicopter Plant in 1948. Since then, it has never been renovated. In 2019, the building was handed over to the city, after which a renovation project was developed. </p> <p> “The new center will have everything to become the heart of the cultural life of the Admiralteyskaya Sloboda. Even in the best Soviet times, there was nothing like this in this part of the city. Kirovsky city district used to be deprived of infrastructure for children and teenagers. Thanks to the Rais of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov for such support. We opened a new type of city library nearby, as well as landscaped a Fisherman's garden. And soon our children, teenagers and representatives of the older generation will be able to realize their talents in this center. We will create all conditions for this,”- Ilsur Metshin said. </p> <p> It is planned to open creative and dance classes, a theater studio, media and patriotic associations, a cyber area, an art studio, and a broadcasting school in the youth center. </p> <p> On the ground floor there is a gym, a fitness hall, an art sports hall, as well as saunas and locker rooms. The sports hall will also be adapted for people with limited mobility – special simulators will be installed. </p> <p> “There are no free gyms nearby in this part of the Kirovsky district. This center will be available to all children and youth. Local sports teams will get better conditions,”- Ilsur Metshin said. </p> <p> In addition, a co-working, networking and art cafe, a dance hall, a universal exhibition and multifunctional halls will open on the ground floor. </p> <p> According to Ekaterina Sogrina, director of the MBU Podrostok, the local branch of the Movement of the First, Good Kazan will work in the coworking. The space is available for educational classes and strategic sessions. </p> <p> On the second floor, teenagers will be able to engage in creative activities. A video studio, a music studio, three dressing rooms, a stage and a media center will be equipped for this purpose. On the same floor there are two universal halls for educational and entertainment events. </p> <p> “It's great that there are many zones. They are completely different, but at the same time can be transformed: you can hold sports, cultural, entertainment, and educational events, forums for every taste and age. We haven't had this before. This is a big step forward,”- the Mayor noted. </p> <p> The newly opened Yaratam teen club in the Moskovsky district with transformer halls with LED screens became a landmark in the renovated youth center. The same equipment will be installed in Vertolyot. </p> <p> “There is already a competition between the youth clubs. There used to be asterisks, and now there are such asterisks in every city district,”- Ilsur Metshin noted. </p>
