I.Metshin on KazanForum – 2023: “We are pleased with the growing role of Kazan in Russia's dialogue with the international community”

A leading economic forum will bring together 11 thousand participants from 80 countries in the capital of Tatarstan

On May 18-19, the XIV International Economic Forum “Russia – the Islamic World: KazanForum” will be held in the capital of Tatarstan. Eleven thousand participants from 80 countries will take part in the event. The holding of the forum in Kazan is of great importance for the whole country, the Mayor of the city Ilsur Metshin said today at the Business Monday meeting.

“This week we will host an important event – the 14th International Forum “Russia - the Islamic World: KazanForum 2023”. Today, this is the main platform for our country in the dialogue between Russia and the Islamic world. We are pleased with the growing role of Kazan in Russia's dialogue with the international community. We have been working on this task for many years and are aimed at constructive interaction, respect for each other and partnership,”- the Mayor said.

Earlier, a regional meeting of the organizing committee was held. The meeting with the participation of the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov was held by Russian Deputy Prime Minister, Chairman of the Organizing Committee Marat Khusnullin. Ilsur Metshin spoke about the preparation of the city infrastructure for the forum.
