This year, 278 apartment buildings will be renovated in Kazan.

Today, the Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin inspected the progress of overhaul at one of the Kazan houses - on Marshal Chuikov str., 12. In total, this year the overhaul will take place in 278 Kazan houses. As a result, 68 thousand citizens will improve their living conditions.

Marat Nuriev, Director General of Uyutny Dom LLC, told the Mayor that the nine-storey house was built in 1978. One hundred ninety two people live there. As part of the overhaul, it is planned to change the heating system, cold and hot water supply, sewerage systems, repair the roof, front and entrances, and renovate the power supply systems.

Work on the site started on June 8, and today it has been completed by 58%. The repair is scheduled to be completed until November 20.

“We came to hear complaints and comments. We want to finish the main work until the end of summer. And after the overhaul of the house, next year, we will start a major repair of the yard”, - Ilsur Metshin said.

Landscaping of the territory, asphalting of the road and installation of a new playground are planned here. According Timur Alibayev, head of the administration of the Aviastroitelny and Novo-Savinovsky districts, the house will have its own square with a volleyball court and table tennis.

“When we grew up, everything was in school. Today we are moving on. Now, thanks to the presidential program, we create comfort conditions in the yards, - said the Mayor of Kazan. – So when we start a renovation of the yard next year, I ask you to actively participate in the work, tell us what you would like to see here, take part in the design, and express your opinion”.
