I. Metshin: “We have got to the new level: we repaired more than 70% of teenage clubs and”

For 7 years, 40 teenage clubs have been repaired in Kazan.

(KZN.RU, August 26, Ksenia Shvetsova). Since 2013, 40 teenage clubs have been repaired in Kazan under the overhaul program. Currently, the year's program is completed by 91%, said Iskander Giniyatullin, the deputy head of the Executive Committee, at the Business Monday. This year, 14 teenage clubs are being renovated, which are attended by over a thousand teenagers. The cost of the current year is 43.05 million rubles.

“We have got to the new level: we repaired over 70% of teenage clubs. It is important that thanks to the overhaul of the clubs, we ensure their availability for children and open institutions in the community. And it is important that the overwhelming number of services in them are free for citizens”, said Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor of Kazan.

During the overhaul of teenage clubs, the engineering networks are replaced, bathrooms, showers, rooms and halls for classes are restored, facades and entrances are repaired, and inventory and equipment are updated. The total funding for the program since 2013 amounted to 213.25 million rubles, according to I. Giniyatullin.

New areas of further education are opening in the renovated clubs for children. “For the first time in the history of our city’s clubs, the teenage club “Nika” in the Moskovsky district will have a film studio. The pottery workshop will be organized at the club “Olympus” in the Novo-Savinovsky district. And a beauty technology workshop will be opened in the club “Druzhba” of the Novo-Savinovsky district”, I. Ginniyatullin shared his plans.

An overhaul program for teenage clubs for 2020-2021 has already been prepared for today, which proposes to include 13 clubs, said I. Giniyatullin in conclusion.
