I. Metshin: “We are indebted to the veterans and all the participants of that terrible wartime”

The Mayor of Kazan congratulated the residents of the capital of Tatarstan on the Victory Day.

(KZN.RU, May 9). Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor of Kazan, congratulated residents of the capital of Tatarstan on the Victory Day.

“Dear citizens of Kazan!

I wholeheartedly congratulate you on Victory Day!

A great holiday, the history of which will forever keep in our hearts the bitterness of loss, the deep sorrow, and joy of the Victory. Over the years, it has been a symbol of true courage, devotion, and love for the Motherland.

May 9 is a holiday with tears in the eyes. This is the day that has changed the destiny of our state and has become a heroic peak of its history.

Today, we bow our heads before those who survived and millions of fallen on the battlefields, before those who bleed and died for the Victory of May 1945.

We are indebted to the veterans and all the participants of that terrible wartime, who, at the cost of personal losses, gave us a decent life and a peaceful sky above our heads.

Congratulations, dear friends! I sincerely wish you good health, happiness, success, peace, good, and prosperity!”, says the greeting.
