<p> Implementation of municipal measures to support small and medium-sized businesses will remain in Kazan. Among the new measures, subsidies for the implementation of startups and certification of products are available for entrepreneurs. The Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin announced this today at a staff meeting in the Executive Committee. </p> <p> “Small and medium-sized businesses are suffering hard times, so we are extending municipal support measures, although this is quite a significant burden on the city budget”, - I.Metshin said. </p> <p> For reference, the special regime of work of municipal parking remains until the end of the year, the deferred payments for the installation and operation of advertising structures in 2021 and 2022 have been extended. For the second summer season, restaurateurs placed verandas at their cafes free of charge. </p> <p> “Kazan entrepreneurs continue to receive financial support in the form of subsidizing part of the interest rate on loans issued by authorized banks”, - first deputy chair of the Economic Development Committee Guzel Mingazova informed. Business representatives also receive property support under the Rental Holidays municipal project, she added. </p> <p> In addition, on demand of the Kazan business community, new support measures were introduced this year – subsidies for reimbursement of part of the costs incurred from the development of innovative projects and certification of products. </p> <p> Since November 1, soft loans at the rate of 3% are available for enterprises and organizations of the most affected sectors of the economy. </p> <p> “We believe that our municipal, republican and federal support measures will allow representatives of small and medium-sized businesses to cope with difficulties – the Mayor added. – It is very important to continue a dialogue nowadays. We need to keep the situation under control and respond promptly to any challenges and changes”. </p>
