I.Metshin: “We continue to fulfill all our obligations under one of the priority programs – the resettlement of the dilapidated housing in Kazan”

This year, the program includes five houses on Bazarnaya, Biryuzovaya, Zadonskaya and Kolymskaya streets – 80 families have already received keys to new apartments.

This year, the municipal program for the relocation of citizens from dilapidated housing includes five residential buildings. Renat Shamsutdinov, head of the housing policy department, told at the Business Monday meeting at the Executive Committee about the implementation of the program.

I.Metshin emphasized that despite the pandemic, the work on the program was not suspended. “We continue to fulfill all our obligations. We are trying to fulfill our plans for this year. This also applies to one of the priority programs - the resettlement of the dilapidated housing in Kazan”, - the Mayor noted.

According to Rinat Shamsutdinov, the program for 2019-2025 includes 51 dilapidated houses of 518 apartments, where 1,447 people live. The total amount of funding for the program is 888 million rubles. Therefore, in 2019, 16 dilapidated buildings were resettled. “Along with this, we are working on the 2021 program – we will resettle 9 dilapidated buildings. We hope that the Federal budget will continue this project as a priority, and we will complete the program of resettlement of dilapidated housing in full”, - I.Metshin said.

“This year, it is planned to resettle five dilapidated buildings located on Bazarnaya, Biryuzovaya, Zadonskaya and Kolymskaya streets, with 271 residents living there”- R.Shamsutdinov said. For this purpose, 94 new apartments were purchased for 144 million 600 thousand rubles.

“Most of the families scheduled for resettlement this year have already received the keys to new comfortable houses. Since the process of buying out apartments of the State Housing Fund is currently completed, we hope that the remaining 12 families will not have to wait long for resettlement”, - Ilsur Metshin concluded.
