I.Metshin: “We are ready to pay for the training of not 30, but 300 specialists in the field of inclusion”

<p> The winners of the Good Kazan Award introduced their projects to the Mayor of the city Ilsur Metshin. A round table discussion of projects that were developed by teachers in the field of inclusive education was held today. Following the results of the presentation at the Good Kazan coworking, Ilsur Metshin instructed to develop roadmaps for each project. </p> <p> For the first time, the Good Kazan Award was presented in the city in early April. The jury selected winners and prize-winners in five age tracks among 76 specialists that have submitted their applications. </p> <p> The participants worked on their projects during a specially organized educational session. In particular, mentors from Moscow, Krasnodar, Novosibirsk and Ufa were invited. </p> <p> Vasilya Khasanzyanova, a teacher-psychologist of kindergarten No. 379, presented her project. She introduced the project Growing and Developing Together for children aged 1 to 3 years. Ilsur Metshin asked what kind of assistance is required for the implementation of the project. According to V.Khasanzyanova, funds are needed for training specialists and equipping classrooms. The Mayor supported the initiative and instructed to discuss all the details together with the Financial Department of the Executive Committee, and then submit the project to him again. </p> <p> Victoria Semyonova, a speech education teacher of kindergarten No. 165, won in the second nomination – Projects for children from 3 to 7 years old. According to V. Semyonova's project, 28 children will be able to complete the full-fledged socialization, which will give them a chance to study in secondary schools in the future, and 30 teachers will learn how to work in such groups. </p> <p> Financial assistance is also required for the implementation of the second project. “We are ready to pay for the training of not 30, but 300 specialists. I request the Department of Education and the heads of district administrations to determine the exact number of employees for training,”- the Mayor instructed. </p> <p> Next, Vera Zanko, a speech education teacher of school No. 156, presented her project “I know, I can” for children from 7 to 14 years old. Her work is devoted to teaching parents of children with autism the skills of behavior work. V.Zanko suggests selecting a target group of 130 parents, after training, according to the test results, 20 people will be selected from among them for further work. “First of all, everything we discuss should be optional. The project should be evolutionary, such as school fairs, when they started with one school and spread in all schools of the city,”- the Mayor stressed, also supporting the initiative of the teacher. </p> <p> The best in “Projects for children from 14 to 18 years old” nomination was the project of the teacher of lyceum No. 78 Zukhra Tumakaeva. Teenagers with intellectual disabilities are often not prepared for life. To solve the problem, it is proposed to conduct classes on four vectors (creativity, services, typography, IT). </p> <p> “Ash Vakyty” project for people from 18 years old is aimed at employment young people with intellectual disabilities. It is proposed to train children in 4 directions: printing, cleaning, cooking and plant growing. After completing the training, young people, accompanied by teachers and tutors, will be able to join internships and work. “I hope that the Good Kazan will grow with such projects, we will support them. They help children with intellectual disabilities, and today we engage not only children, but also adults. Let's implement these projects. It is important for me that they grow into a systematic work as part of the Good Kazan project”, - Ilsur Metshin noted. </p>
