<p> (KZN.RU, November 19, Ksenia Shvetsova). 90% of outdoor lighting was automated, more than 6 thousand nonharmless mercury fixtures to modern LED-luminaire were replaced, illumination on 117 streets of the towns was conducted in Kazan for the last few years. Today Rustam Abdulkhakov, the chief manager, told about the results of work "Kazenergo", a joint-stock company, at the Business Monday. </p> <p> <b>Automation of lighting: economy of the electric power and inclusion of the light at the right time</b> </p> <p> The "Kazenergo" company serves 81,9 thousand lightpoints and 2628 kms of outdoor lighting networks in Kazan. Besides the enterprise actively engages in their development, as the speaker noted and cited the results of work on outdoor lighting automation: the 88-percent automation level of city outdoor lighting was provided in this year's tasks of the enterprise, and at the present time the automation level has been already exceeded 90%. </p> <p> К.Abdulkhakov noted the automation allows to control lighting lines, turn on and off the light at the right time. It allows not only to avoid the citizen's discontent, but also to save electric power consumption. "We regularly organize events connected in promising better energy efficiency", - he added. </p> <p> Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor of Kazan, noted that so significant achievement in automation was shown the development of network city infrastructure. "We've automated 90% of outdoor lighting - it is the serious results of the work in this direction. We will continue this important work “, - I.Metshin noted. </p> <p> <b>"We made a huge step in the town illumination for the last 3 years"</b> </p> <p> The work on the city light increase is being continuously led, and the new networks of outdoor lighting are being built in Kazan. So, 6,5 thousand new fixtures are installed on the various programs, the distance of lighting networks increased by 188 kms for 3 years. According to R.Abdulkhakov's words, 3 thousand 479 new lightpoints are installed this year - the lighting is available on Dekabristov, Absalyamov, Karbyshev streets, on Fuchik parkway, the embankment of the Kaban Lake, in the Gorkinsko-Ometievsky forest, as well as, on the citizens' request, the outdoor lighting is on the roads to residential complex "Salavat Kupere" and from Yudino to New-Yudino. </p> <p> The development of network town infrastructure became an important achievement - the lighting is available on 117 town streets. The construction of networks is produced by the programs in the restoration of street lighting in the towns of the RT due to the Fund of gasification, energy-saving technologies and engineering networks systems of the RT. </p> <p> <b>There won't be any mercury fixture in Kazan</b> </p> <p> The "Kazenergo" company realises the replacement program of nonharmless mercury fixtures to modern LED-luminaire due to the city powerservice contract. So, 6100 mercury fixtures and 31 control block were replaced for 3 months. As a result, the illuminating the city is increased with significant cost reductions to electric power. The investments of "Kazenergo" are characterized with payback periods up to 5 years. </p> <p> The management of individual inclusion fixtures working in inefficient consumption operation of electric power is an important issue that needs to be addressed. At the present time the specialists of the "Kazenergo" company together with the public corporation "Network company" execute the audit for accurately the number of the fixtures. It is planned to replace mercury fixtures that will allow not only to lower electric energy consumption, but also to raise the lighting quality. "There won't be any mercury fixture in Kazan", - R.Abdulkhakov concluded. </p>
