I.Metshin: “It is important to support the practical implementation of the youth creative ideas”

<p> Applications for participation in the annual competition of research and scientific-practical works for scholarships of the Mayor of Kazan will be submitted in Kazan until October 28. This year, a new priority area – urban agriculture -has been added. </p> <p> Ayrat Faizov - chair of the Committee for children and youth affairs reminded today at a Business Monday in the Executive Committee of Kazan that scholarships are awarded on the basis of research work for the educational year to students and postgraduates of higher and professional educational institutions, as well as representatives of youth NGO’s in the field of municipal services, culture, economy, social services and youth policy of the city. </p> <p> Traditionally, 38 undergraduate and graduate students and 30 schoolchildren studying in children's music and art schools become the winners of the competition. The speaker added that the competition for scholarships among schoolchildren has already taken place and brought together more than 100 children. </p> <p> “Due to the active cooperation with leading universities and enterprises of Kazan, the works that won the competition are used in the city economy. Thus, the work of Sergey Gaponenko is implemented in the diagnosis of heat supply systems of the city, and Rustem Mukhametrakhimov’s in the production of wall tiles for exterior and interior decoration", - A.Faizov said. </p> <p> Submission of the applications for the scholarship is available until October 28. The results of the competition will be summed up in December. </p> <p> “It is important to support and encourage young people who are focused on creation of the projects. At the same time, not only by gifts, flowers, prizes and scholarships, but also the practical implementation of their ideas – their use in the urban economy”, - said the mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin and urged young researchers to participate in the competition. </p> <p>   </p>
