I.Metshin: "Kazan is ready to meet the world final of the WorldSkills championship"

<p> (KZN.RU, November 19, Ksenia Shvetsova). The regional competitions of the WorldSkills championship will last in Tatarstan till December 7, which has started in Kazan on November 14. All competitions are held in accordance with the international standards of under strict control by the certificated experts of international level. It means that Kazan is ready to meet the world final of the championship which is expected in the city next year. Today, Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor of Kazan, declared about it at the Business Monday. I.Metshin really expressed confidence that the preparatory work to the world championship will increase the interest of the youth to working professions. </p> <p> The regional phase of the WorldSkills championship will take place on 38 republic sites, 2 thousand participants and experts will take part in it. For the first time the regional championship is held on 83 WorldSkills competence and 53 Junior competence this year, Arthur Valiakhmetov, the chairman of the Committee of Economical development, reminded and also added that the competitions have already been held on 74 competence for the grown-ups and 37 competence for the juniors from 14 till 16 November. The Kazan Executive Committee is responsible for the organization of competitions on 5 grown-ups and 3 juniors competence. </p> <p> To the word, the experience was used based on the competence enshrined by the profile department in Tatarstan for the first time. So, 10 directions of the regional championship are transferred to the Kazan Executive Committee for control. Floristics, art of cooking, confectioner's business, restaurant service, hairdressing and others are among them. "The competence competitions supervised by the Executive Committee were held in the secondary vocational schools being the competence certificated centres", - А.Valiakhmetov reported. </p> <p> The area of exhibition centre “Kazan EKSPO”, the international service college, Kazan building college, pedagogical college and other establishments became the main places of the regional championship in Kazan. The composition of extended team of the RT will be formed, and the participants of semifinals and championship final will find position on totals of the regional championship. </p> <p> The infrastructure and the specialists of Kazan are entirely ready to meet the world phase of the championship which will take place in the summer of the next year in the city, the Mayor of Kazan noted. "We were acquainted with the best world's practices, all the organization goes in the scheduled order, - I.Metshin told. - There is a big intention that our children will enter to Russia's National team and present our country on the World Games. We will keep a close watch on our representatives", - The chapter of the city said and wished success and victory to all participants of the competitions. </p> <p> We will remind, the competitions will be held on 4 grown-ups and 13 juniors competence in additional dates, from 21 till 23 November. The totals of the competitions and the championship closing ceremony will be performed in Kazan on November 17. </p>
