The grand theatrical show will open the Fan Festival in Kazan on the day of the start of the World Cup-2018

Each day of the cultural program of the FanFest will have an individual theme and idea.

(KZN.RU, May 23, Ksenia Shvetsova). Preparations for the Fan Festival in Kazan are being completed. The cultural program of the event, which will gather residents, football players, fans, tourists and guests from around the world on the site near the Family Center “Kazan”, is designed for people of all ages and nationalities. The FanFest will open with a grand theatrical show on the day of the start of the World Cup, on June 14.

The official venue for watching matches outside the stadium is organized on the platform of the FanFest. 2 screens will be installed on the festival grounds for this purpose. On June 14 at 6 pm, the first match between the national teams of Russia and Saudi Arabia will be broadcasted.

The festival will open on the first day of the championship and will end on July 15, the day of the World Cup final. During this time, visitors to the festival will have time to become participants of various events and get to know more closely the culture of all countries taking part in the championship.

There are 6 days off in the work of the FanFest: June 29, July 5, 8, 9, 12, and 13. The entrance of the fans and guests to the site is free on game days.

As Leila Fazleeva, the deputy prime minister of the RT, told that the territory of the FanFest is divided into certain zones. The first zone includes the main entrance group, the inspection site, which is necessary for security requirements, and the store with the official World Cup attributes. Also, there will be souvenirs of national crafts, pavilions of sponsors, partners and the central stage of the festival.

The second one has an activity area for small and adult visitors. A children's playground for futsal, master classes on football freestyle, a zone for a penalty, a children's obstacle course will be organized for children. Also, the main restaurant complex of the festival will be located there. The restaurant will present a wide range of national dishes to visitors.

A media platform, a volunteer center, a festival management center and a joint security center will be organized in one of the festival zones. The fifth zone includes storage rooms and accreditation centers. 220 volunteers will take part in the work of the FanFest site.

“The festival will have interactive zones for guests and residents, musical accompaniment from popular DJs and a concert program on the main stage”, said L. Fazleeva.

Each day of the program will have an individual theme and idea. In the days of matches, the program will be aimed at revealing the cultural values of Tatarstan, Russia, and the countries whose teams will play in our city.

The day of the first match and the final day will also be highlighted. On June 14, guests will be presented with a theatrical show, which will tell about the cultural, historical, sporting identity and heritage of Kazan, Tatarstan, and Russia.

On June 16, the first match in Kazan between the teams of France and Australia will take place. The festival site will welcome fans and participants of teams playing this day in Kazan with the national concert program “We are the children of one Earth”.

On the same day, an international vocal-choreographic potpourri is expected. It will be based on the most popular pop and folk compositions of the countries participating in the championship: Germany, Iran, Spain, Colombia, Korea, France, and Australia. The prolog will end with the musical compositions of those countries that play that day in Kazan, this will be a sort of presentation of the participating teams.

On June 21, the program will be dedicated to the international contemporary Tatar music, performed by youth groups and performers of Tatarstan.

June 23 will be marked by an international holiday of folk musicians. On this day, Kazan guests will learn about the culture and various symbols, traditions of the peoples of Russia. Sabantuy will take place on this day in the capital of the republic as well.

On June 25, the program of FanFest is designated as a day of domestic football. A tournament between different football teams of Kazan and a concert will be held.

June 27 and 28 will be the days of youth, so performances of popular rock bands and youth groups are scheduled these days. Also, there will be matches of Kazan and Tatarstan organizations, fans of the whole country.

On 6, 7, 10, 11, 14, and 15 of July, the cultural program on the stage of FanFest is being worked out by the Ministry of Culture of the RT and will be no less busy than on other days.

On July 15, there will be a solemn closing of the fan-zone.
