On April 1, the guests of the Kazan’s zoo will be able to see feathers of birds under a microscope

The educative program for children is prepared for the International Day of Birds.

(KZN.RU, March 28). On April 1, not only the Day of Laughter, but also the International Day of Birds will be celebrated in the Kazan zoo. The staff prepared a special educative program for children - an open ecological lesson "Birds".

The event will be held in the classroom of environmental education. The children will be able to learn more about the life of birds, examine feathers under a microscope, visit an exposition of live birds and an exhibition of starling-houses.

The winners of the "The Best Bird House" contest, which started in early March, will be awarded here. According to the press-center of the Kazan Zoo, ecological lesson will begin at noon; the entrance is pay- free.

Earlier it became known that a new part of zoo dedicated to the African fauna - "Zambezi River" will open by the end of the year.
