Guests of the Warsaw World Travel Show were treated with tea and chak-chak

Polish tour operators were invited to Kazan to explore the sights of the city.

(KZN.RU, October 19). Kazan was presented to representatives of the Polish tourist market and participants of the World Travel Show exhibition in Warsaw today. The guests of the presentation were treated with tea and a national Tatar delicacy chak-chak, learned about its sights and showed a virtual tour of the city.

The visit of the Kazan delegation resulted in an agreement with the Russian Center for Science and Culture in Warsaw to invite Polish tour operators to Kazan for a study tour, after which they could recommend the city to visit. The proposal was initiated by Dariusz Wojtal, the Vice-President of the Polish Chamber of Tourism, who insisted on the need to create a direct flight between Kazan and Poland.

The World Travel Show is held from 19 to 21 of October in Warsaw at the International Exhibition and Convention Center “Ptak Warshaw Expo”. This year, Kazan takes part in it for the first time. Daria Sannikova, the director of the Tourism Promotion Committee, noted that participation in such events is important for the promotion of the city. Kazan has become the only Russian city presented at the World Travel Show. The city’s stand was organized by the Kazan Tourism Promotion Committee with two Kazan tour operators “Travel and Work” and “Tulpam Travel”.

The exhibition also includes business meetings of representatives of the Kazan Tourism Promotion Committee with the leadership of the Alumni Association of Russian Universities of Poland, representatives of Polish business, and public circles.
