Heads of Kazan districts: “Cars parked in the yards with the work of snow-removal equipment”

<p> (KZN.RU, January 28, Alina Berezhnaya). Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor of Kazan, listened to the report of the heads of districts on snow removal in the yards at the Business Monday today. Driveways and yards in all districts of Kazan are in a good condition, assured the heads of district administrations. One of the main problems that they unanimously noted was the cars parked in the yards interfering with the work of the snow removal equipment. </p> <p> </p> <p> Robert Garipov, the first deputy head of the Aviastroitelny and Novo-Savinovsky districts’ administration, said that 689 janitors, 51 units of special equipment and 33 units of small-scale machinery are involved in daily cleaning of the yard territories. At the same time, one hundred percent cleaning has now been carried out in 1098 yards out of 1189 ones on the territory. Since the beginning of winter, 2590 tons of snow have been removed fr om the territories of the districts. “The condition of the courtyards in the districts is good, the terms of cleaning of intra-driveways due to the parked transport significantly increase”, complained R. Garipov. He added that the cleaning is done with the installation of warning signs. “Most of the residents' appeals come on cleaning the settlements, wh ere only grading is provided. Additional equipment is used to clean the streets in the settlements”, said the deputy head. </p> <p> </p> <p> 300 janitors, 100 road workers and more than 110 units of equipment are involved in cleaning the territory of Kirovsky and Moskovsky districts. Sergey Mironov, the head of the districts’ administration, noted that more than 1500 cameras on apartment buildings allow tracking the quality of the cleaning. Residents themselves also provide great help in cleaning the yards. Thus, since January 1, the services “Open Kazan” and “People's Control” received more than 900 calls regarding the quality of snow removal. All applications were completed, said S. Mironov. </p> <p> </p> <p> Andrey Lobov, the head of the Vakhitovsky and Privolzhsky districts’ administration of Kazan, reported that since the beginning of winter, more than 150 thousand tons of snow had been removed from the territories of the districts. Every day, 167 units of equipment and more than 150 road workers clean the streets. Special attention during the cleaning is paid to tourist routes, central highways and sidewalks. </p> <p> </p> <p> Roman Fatkhutdinov, the head of the Sovetsky district’s administration, informed about the situation in the yards of the Sovetsky district. Thus, 460 janitors and 46 pieces of equipment are involved in daily cleaning. “1172 house territories are in a standard condition, which is 94%, a large number of parked vehicles is interfering with better cleaning of house territories”, he said. The roads to the social infrastructure, hospitals, and kindergartens are cleaned in the district. </p> <p> </p> <p> The Mayor of Kazan instructed not to rest, and the heads of districts to keep the issue of snow removal under special control, work out the appeals in the services “Open Kazan” and “People's Control” and respond to them promptly. “In the coming days, heavy snowfall is not expected in the city, so try to refine all the problem areas during this time”, said I. Metshin. </p>
