The final of the Inter-regional youth project “EthnoGift” will be held in Kazan

The results of the competition will be announced on April 17.

(KZN.RU, April 12). On April 17, a gala show of collections of young designers in ethnic style will take place in Kazan in the GRK “Korston”. Participants of the show will be the finalists of the V Interregional Contest of Young Designers “EthnoGift”, which is held by the Federal National and Cultural Autonomy of the Tatars.

120 applications were submitted at the qualifying stage of the contest from 35 regions from Kaliningrad to Irkutsk. 36 collections reached the final. The winners will be determined on April 17 in the framework of the gala show.

Young designers from the age of 18 to 35, who use the ethnic traditions of the peoples of Russia, participated in the competition.

Guests of the show could also attend creative workshops for making accessories and interior items in ethnic style in the technique of decoupage, stained glass, and felting out of wool.

The winners of the photo competition “EthnoVision” will also be awarded in three nominations: “Consent of the peoples, consonance of cultures”, “I am the son of my people...”, and “Folk traditions”. Within the framework of the festival, the photo contest collected 270 applications, said the organizers.

The finale of the inter-regional youth project “EthnoGidt” can be visited by anyone, the entrance is free. The beginning is at 5 pm.
