E.Lodvigova: “Kazan is becoming the center of attraction youth for education and professional growth”

The Vice-mayor of Kazan took part in the BRICS Young Diplomats Forum.

Evgenia Lodvigova, Vice-mayor of Kazan, took part in the V BRICS Young Diplomats Forum. She presented a report at the working session “Development of cooperation within the BRICS and BRICS plus format (interregional cooperation, promotion of tourism and innovation)”. The event was held at the Kazan Palace by Tasigo hotel.

“Historically, Kazan is the center of cooperation with almost all countries of the world. We owe our success to active international and inter-municipal activities”, - Evgenia Lodvigova said in her speech.

In her opinion, urban diplomacy is one of the most effective tools for maintaining the stability of international relations, cohesion, and conflict prevention.

“Working with international organizations allows to exchange the best municipal practices, prepare and implement joint projects to solve urban challenges, discuss current issues and share experience in various fields”, - E.Lodvigova emphasized.

“Kazan is rapidly developing relative to many regions of Russia and, as a result, is becoming one of the centers of attraction youth from the country and the world for education, comprehensive personal and professional growth”, - said the Vice-mayor of the capital of Tatarstan.

The Vice-mayor of Kazan also spoke about the positive experience of Kazan in implementing initiatives that have helped to achieve positive social, economic and environmental effects.
