<p> The Expo 2020 world universal exposition takes place in Dubai, the expo has a theme “Connecting Minds, Creating the Future”. Its participants from 192 countries present their best ideas and achievements. The Days of Tatarstan Republic take place at the Russian pavilion of the exhibition from October 1 to 10, and a presentation of Kazan was held today as part of the business program. Representatives of the Executive Committee of the city spoke about achievements in hospitality, advanced technologies and landscaping. Deputy Head of the Kazan Municipality Evgenia Lodvigova heads the delegation of the capital of Tatarstan. </p> <p> Daria Sannikova, Director of the Committee for Tourism Development, Deputy of the Kazan City Duma, told about the development of the multinational capital of Tatarstan, the tourist potential of Kazan and annual events. </p> <p> Timur Kadyrov, deputy chief architect of Kazan, made a report “Modern Kazan- a dynamic city of sustainable economic growth and ample opportunities”, presented the strategy of development of public spaces and recreational areas, coastal areas of the Kazanka River, the concept of complex renovation of the port area, and shared experience in the renovation of public spaces. </p> <p> Deputy Head of the Executive Committee of Kazan Radik Shafigullin shared the experience in the creation of a smart city as a basis for security and providing comfortable conditions for residents. </p> <p> The Expo world universal exposition is a global event and is held every 5 years. </p>
