The project will help teenagers develop the skills for independent living
A new adapted social orientation program was launched for teenagers aged 14-17 at the Luch Inclusive Center. The program aim to help young people learn the skills they need for independent living. As part of the training, master classes, guided tours, and practical exercises are provided. The project is run by ANO «Good Kazan».
Classes include learning the rules of conduct in public places, as well as use of household services and facilities. Teenagers also learn basic self-care skills and the basics of housekeeping, from taking care of their clothes and making up their room to setting a table and cooking easy-to-make meals. Special attention is paid to financial literacy, including budget planning and the purchase of essential items.
The training is organized in the form of master classes, excursions, and practical exercises. The program consists of three main blocks: Me in the World (hygiene and daily routines), My Home (organizing space and working with household appliances), and «Public Behavior» (safety and basic communication skills in everyday life).
The first session took place in a «Breakfast with a Star» format, with special guest Svetlana Zvonareva, a host of the morning show. Such events will be held on a monthly basis.
