Today, 216 road workers and 191 units of special equipment will clean the snow in Kazan

Over the past day, 3160 tons of snow were removed from the streets of the city.

Over the past day, 3160 tons of snow were removed from Kazan streets. 396 road workers and 548 units of special equipment, including 148 combined road machines, 146 brush tractors, 109 dump trucks, 61 wheel loaders, 49 MKSM “Barsik”, 17 graders, 12 snow loaders, and other equipment, were involved in cleaning the city.

533 tons of de-icing materials were used on the roads of Kazan per day, including 74 tons of reagent and 459 tons of sand-salt mixture.

According to the districts’ administrations, 216 road workers and 191 units of special equipment will clean the streets from the snow today, reports the Committee for External Improvement.
