Dmitry Medvedev arrived in Kazan

The Prime Minister of the RF will take part in the opening ceremony of the WorldSkills.

(KZN.RU, August 22). Dmitry Medvedev, the Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, arrived in Kazan on a working trip. Rustam Minnikhanov, the President of the RT, welcomed him at the Kazan International Airport.

The Prime Minister of the RF will take part in the opening ceremony of the 45th WorldSkills Championship and will meet with participants, members of the Russian national skills team WorldSkills.

Also, Dmitry Medvedev, accompanied by the President of the RT, will visit the Interregional Competence Center – Kazan College of Information Technology and Communications. There he will get acquainted with the work of the training ground for the competencies “Web Design and Development”, “Software Solutions for Business”, “Mobile Robotics”.

Within the framework of the trip, the Prime Minister of the RF will hold a working meeting with R. Minnikhanov in the Kazan Kremlin. In addition, the Prime Minister is scheduled to meet with Askar Mamin, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and Simon Bartley, the WorldSkills International President.

Olga Vasilieva, the minister of Education of the RF, Denis Manturov, the minister of Industry and Trade of the RF, representatives of relevant federal executive authorities will also take part in the events, reports press service of the President of the RT.
