The Russian Prime Minister will attend the opening of WorldSkills Kazan 2019, meet with members of the national team, and hold a number of working meetings.
(KZN.RU, August 22). Today the 45th WorldSkills Championship will open in Kazan. The opening ceremony at the stadium “Kazan Arena” will be attended by Dmitry Medvedev, the prime minister of the RF, Tatiana Golikova, the deputy prime minister of the RF, and Rustam Minnikhanov, the President of the RT.
In Kazan, Dmitry Medvedev will also meet with participants, members of the Russian national team of WorldSkills, visit the Interregional Competence Center – Kazan College of Information Technology and Communications. There he will get acquainted with the work of the training ground for competencies “Web Design and Development”, “Software Solutions for Business”, “Mobile robotics”.
In addition, the Russian Prime Minister will meet with Rustam Minnikhanov, the President of the RT, Askar Mamin, the Kazakh Prime Minister, and Simon Bartley, the WorldSkills International President.
The events will be attended by Tatiana Golikova, the deputy prime minister, Olga Vasilieva, the minister of Education of the RF, Denis Manturov, the minister of Industry and Trade of the RF, representatives of relevant federal executive authorities, reported on the website of the Government of Russia.
The WorldSkills Kazan 2019 Championship will be held in the capital of Tatarstan from 22 to 27 of August. The main competition site will be the international exhibition center “Kazan Expo”. The championship will be attended by 1371 contestants from 63 countries, as well as more than 1500 experts, official and technical delegates.
Competitions will be held in 56 competencies in 6 blocks: construction, information and communication technologies, creativity and design, industrial production, services, and civil transport. In addition, Kazan will host the WorldSkills Juniors Junior Championship in 13 competencies.
Participants will be evaluated by international experts (coaches) from the Russian Federation, Brazil, China, South Korea, and other countries.
