Deputies of the Kazan City Duma inspected clinics in Novo-Savinovsky district of Kazan

The working group noted that conditions for patients in the city's health care facilities improved after the overhaul.

(KZN.RU, January 24). Deputies of the Kazan City Duma continued to inspect the city clinics after overhauling them. Ludmila Andreeva, the deputy mayor of Kazan, Gulnara Gaifullina and Gulsina Khuziyeva, deputy heads of Healthcare of the Ministry of Health of the RT for Kazan, took part in the meeting.

The working group of the Permanent Commission on the Protection of Citizens' Health and the Environment visited the city polyclinic №10 (Bondarenko Street, №4) and the children's city polyclinic №9 (Adoratsky Street, №6). The major overhaul was carried out in these medical institutions and the project “Friendly Polyclinic” was implemented.

Thus, the deputies noted that conditions for patients in health care facilities improved after the overhaul. However, there were still undone repairs in both clinics, due to the insufficiency of the funds allocated and the unfairness of the contractors. They will be completed during the first half of 2019.

One of the serious problems is the inconsistency of the electronic recording system with the requirements that should be in a modern clinic. In particular, this is the impossibility to make an appointment for patients who are at the dispensary, directly to a specialist without visiting a therapist. There is no restriction of re-recording to the same doctor, no integration with other electronic programs, as a result, the doctor is forced to re-fill appointments for each patient.

Also, deputies noticed that the staffing of medical institutions has not been revised for more than 40 years, despite the growth in population. Among other things, the plots formed by the quantitative composition of the population do not allow the doctor to conduct properly treatment. At least 2100 people are served in polyclinics at each plot with a standard of 1700-1800 people for 1 plot.

The question of the organization of parking lots on the territory adjacent to health care institutions remains topical.

The deputies are also planning to inspect the medical institutions of the Privolzhsky and Sovetsky districts of Kazan.
