Denis Kalinkin inspected the progress of overhaul of an apartment building on Bondarenko street

The living standards of citizens will improve after completion of the renovation, as well as the utility costs will decrease, the head of the Executive Committee noted.

The progress of overhaul in an apartment building on Bondarenko street, 6 at the Moskovsky district of the city was inspected today by the head of the Executive Committee of Kazan Denis Kalinkin. Residents of the building complained to the facility management company about the cold in the apartments in the winter. After a thermovision inspection of the building, it was decided to insulate the front. As a result, not only the living standards of the citizens will improve, but also, utility costs will decrease, the head of the Executive Committee noted.

A brick nine-storey house on Bondarenko street was built in 1995, now about 400 people live here. According to the republican overhaul program, the front of the building will be renovated this year – almost 8 million rubles were allocated for this purpose at the expense of apartment owners, the republican and municipal budgets.

“Residents of the apartment building have repeatedly complained about the cold in their apartments, – Oleg Kalimov, Director of the facility management company of the Moskovsky district, explained the head of the Executive Committee. – We carried out local front insulation of those apartments whose owners complained. However, after that, other residents started complaining. We conducted a thermovision inspection of the building and detected problem areas”.

Front insulation will affect the utility payments of residents, said O. Klimov. On average, residents will pay 10-15% less for heating, Director of the facility management company noted.

“The living standards of citizens will improve after the overhaul, but we will also achieve savings for residents, - D.Kalinkin said. – It is very important that Kazan residents will experience a positive effect”.

The renovation began in June. Presently, the work has been completed by 85-90%, said Alexey Ivanov, Director of the contractor organization RSK Aviator+LLC.

“We plan to complete the renovation of all apartment buildings included in the program for 2020 by November”, - said Iskander Giniyatullin, Deputy head of the Executive Committee.
