Denis Kalinkin inspected the progress of the yard improvement in the Privolzhsky district of Kazan

54 parking lots are additionally arranged in the yard at the request of residents.

(KZN.RU, July 17, Ksenia Shvetsova). The improvement of yard territories in Kazan today is in full swing. The work is being done at 64 sites simultaneously. Denis Kalinkin, the head of the Executive Committee, inspected the repair of one of these yards in the Privolzhsky district of the city.

The renovation of a large yard with a total area of 3.7 thousand square meters was long awaited by residents of five apartment buildings in the Privolzhsky district at Spartakovskaya Street, №125 and 141, Kachalov Street, №86 and 104, Gazovaya Street, №4. The contractor was the company OOO “Kazandorstroy”, the subcontractor was the construction company “Favorit”. Now the workers are installing a new side stone and preparing the base for laying asphalt. In total, 7.3 million rubles are allocated for the renovation of this yard.

Denis Kalinkin asked whether opinions of the population were taken into account when landscaping. “The interests of all citizens are taken into account, including 54 additional parking lots at their request”, said Nikolay Khrustov, the director of the CC “Favorit”. In general, it is planned to organize about 5000 additional parking lots, according to the program of improvement of the yards in Kazan.

In total, this year 1 billion rubles was allocated from the budget of the republic for the repair of the yard territories of Kazan. 430 households are to be repaired with a total area of 457 thousand square meters, said Eduard Vafin, the deputy chairman of the Committee for External Improvement. “At the moment, the work at 74 sites is fully completed, 64 sites are being repaired. The total percentage of the program is approximately 40%. In general, 2215 yard territories will be repaired in the framework of the program starting from 2011. It is about 73% of all the yards of Kazan, which require repair”, said E. Vafin.

“At this pace and with the support of our President Rustam Minnikhanov, we will eventually be able to update all the yards of Kazan that require repair”, noted D. Kalinkin and thanked the contractors for the good work.

Iskander Giniyatullin, the deputy head of the Executive Committee, Dmitry Anisimov, the chairman of the Housing and Communal Services Committee, and others took part in the inspection.
