D. Kalinkin: “If there are any faults in overhaul, the contractor will have to redo everything at his own expense”

The head of the Executive Committee inspected the repair of the kindergarten №160 in the Privolzhsky district.

All works on the overhaul of social facilities should be carried out in a high-quality manner, but this should not affect the terms of delivery, said Denis Kalinkin, the head of the Executive Committee of Kazan, during the inspection of the kindergarten №160 in the Privolzhsky district. He inspected the progress of repairs and instructed to speed up the work so that the institution opened its doors to the new academic year.

The kindergarten № 160 at Kachalov Street, №95, is located in two buildings. The repair now is carried out in one of them. Three groups of pupils were distributed to other pre-school institutions for the time of repair. Sariya Sharafetdinova, the head of the kindergarten, said that the building, where major repairs are currently underway, housed the food unit. Thus, both buildings of the kindergarten had to be closed for the time of the works. In total, 130 children were involved in the kindergarten.

"Our kindergarten has been working for almost 60 years. During this time, there was never a major overhaul. This year we finally got into the overhaul program”, said Sariya Sharafetdinova. “Our institution is in great demand, children and from Ometyevo and other districts come to us. We have about 130-150 pupils”.

This year, the kindergarten is planned to recruit three-year-olds. According to the head, there are enough pupils for at least two groups.

For today, an overhaul has been completed by approximately 68%. According to Rustam Shamsutdinov, the project manager of the OOO “Etalon”, the contract was started on June 20. During this time, the contractor completed the basic work on the structural part, performed the finishing and the external work. “We still have to finish the arrangement of shaded shelter, make asphalted paths to them, install sandboxes, play and sports equipment”, explained R. Shamsutdinov.

“For a good repair quality, we had to replace all the floors by 75%. Also, we completely changed the roof, insulated the facade. At the start, everything here was in a poor state”, said the contractor.

“The building is partially made of brickwork, another part is made of wood. We had to restore everything, to remodel”, added Andrey Zakamsky, the director of the contract organization.

The head of the Executive Committee instructed to speed up the work and complete the overhaul within the established deadlines. “The kindergarten needs to be ready for the new academic year. That's why it is necessary to deliver the object in advance. Weather helps you, so you need to try to complete everything on time. The terms of the delivery are not canceled”.

“The quality of repair work is essential”, added Denis Kalinkin. “If there are any faults, the contractor will have to fix them at his own expense”.

Iskander Giniyatullin, the deputy head of the Executive Committee, Dmitry Anisimov, the chairman of the Housing and Communal Services Committee, Tatiana Prokofieva, the chief architect of the Kazan, and others took part in the meeting.
