Residents and tourists can visit lectures, workshops, quest and other events
The celebration of the Day of Russia in Kazan will begin on June 9 with the presentation of passports to young citizens in Uritsky Park, in Avangard Square, in Sovetskaya Square and in Kryliya Sovetov Park. On June 12, a festive concert will take place at the Kazan Family Center with the participation of Katya Lel, Natan, Ilsia Badretdinova and Arslan. The head of the Department of Culture of Kazan Azat Abzalov informed about the program of the holiday at the Business Monday.
“Various patriotic actions and celebrations are planned on June 12. Day of Russia is one of the most significant holidays of our country. Today, civil unity and national consensus are particularly important, and our task is to preserve this, instill in young people a quivering attitude to history and confidence in the future, love for the motherland,”- Ilsur Metshin said.
On June 12, a big festive concert will begin at 15:00 at the Kazan Kremlin. The finalists of the republican festival of gifted children and youth “Constellation-Yoldyzlyk” will perform. More than 400 laureates of the competition will show vocal and choreographic performances with a national character.
The culmination of the Day of Russia will be a concert program at the Kazan Family Center. The main headliners of the event will be Russian and Tatar pop artists: Katya Lel, Natan, Ilsia Badretdinova and Arslan.
At the quest-map station, guests of the festival will be able to take part in a game on a huge outdoor map with routes to historical places of Kazan. The celebrations will end with fireworks at the Kazanka water area at 22:00.
