Daniel Marinov from Kazan joined the Russian gymnastics team for the BRICS Games, reports the senior coach of the national team, Valentina Rodionenko.

The final list of the team will be approved following the results of the training camp, starting on May 23. “On May 23, the last training camp before this tournament will begin. The absolute national champion Daniel Marinov and Sergey Naidin will definitely take part at the BRICS Games,”- Valentina Rodionenko said.

For reference, a record number of medals will be awarded at the Games – more than 380 sets. Athletes from Tatarstan as part of the Russian national team will also compete for the medals. Among them are Ekaterina Koshkina, Nikita Schleicher, Marta Martinova, Sofia Dyakova and others.
