Damir Fattakhov appointed the Minister of Youth Affairs of the RT

Rustam Minnikhanov, the President of the RT, signed the decree.

(KZN.RU, June 22). Damir Fattakhov was appointed the Minister of Youth Affairs of the RT, reads the decree of the President of the RT No.UP-456 of June 22, 2018. Vladimir Leonov was dismissed as the Minister of Youth Affairs and Sports of the RT and appointed the Minister of Sports of the RT by another decree.

The decision on the transformation of the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports of the RT was supported by the State Council of the RT yesterday. The corresponding decree of the President of the RT No.UP-454 was issued today.

Biography

Damir Fattakhov was born on October 11, 1979, in Kazan.

Education: the Moscow School of Management “Skolkovo”, the Kazan Federal University in the department of Finance and Credit, the Kazan Law Institute of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia.

From 1997 to 2006 – served in the internal affairs bodies of the RT.

From 2006 to 2009 – the chairman of the Committee on Children and Youth Affairs of the Kazan Executive Committee.

Since 2009 – the head of the Kirovsky district administration of Kazan.

Since 2010 – the head of the Kirovsky and Moskovsky districts’ administration of Kazan.

Since 2016 – the first deputy head of the Kazan Executive Committee.

Since 2018 – the minister of Youth Affairs of the RT.

He was awarded the badge “For Excellent Service in the Ministry of Internal Affairs” (2002), the medal “In Memory of the 1000th Anniversary of Kazan” (2005), the Letter of Gratitude of the President of the RT M. Shaimiev (2008), the Gratitude of the Mayor (2010), the medal of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation “For Strengthening the Combat Commonwealth” (2011), the Gratitude of the President of the RT R. Minnikhanov (2012, 2014), the medal “XXVII World Summer Universiade 2013 in Kazan” (2013), the medal “For Valiant Labor” (2014), the medal “XXII Olympic Winter Games and XI Paralympic Games of 2014 in Sochi” (2014), the Certificate of Honor of Kazan (2015).

He is married and has s daughter and two sons.
