<p> (KZN.RU, August 29). WorldSkills Championship in Kazan was held without incidents. 5.5 thousand police and military personnel of the Rosgvardiya were involved, as well as 1200 employees of private security companies to ensure order. </p> <p> The arrival of participants and guests of the championship began on August 8. Security at the Kazan International Airport was provided by employees of the Kazan Linear Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia on transport. </p> <p> Outdoor police squads daily provided order in the streets, transport infrastructure and public places of the city, including during cultural events, on the travel routes of officials and participants in the championship. </p> <p> The access control with round-the-clock security was introduced in the facilities and infrastructure of the championship. 202 tourist-type buses, 24 urban-type buses, 59 minibusses and 99 cars were involved to transport the participants and guests of the championship. </p> <p> At the entrances to Kazan, round-the-clock posts were organized that controlled the entry of transport into the city. Road officials inspected more than 11 thousand units of transport, checked 895 buses. As a result, one fact of illegal drug trafficking was revealed, and 8 suspects were detained. In addition, 84 administrative materials were compiled for traffic violations. </p> <p> Employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the RT carried out work on the prevention and suppression of offenses by both Russian and foreign citizens on an ongoing basis. All these measures allowed to ensure the full safety of the championship, the measures taken did not allow a single crime, reports the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the RT. </p> <p> In total, the competitions of the WorldSkills Championship in the “Kazan Expo” were attended by 270 thousand spectators. about 80 thousand people watched the opening and closing ceremony of the championship at the “Kazan Arena”. </p>
