Koresh Belt Wrestling is included in the program of the BRICS Games

The Russian national team in this sport will perform at the tournament

Koresh, Tatar national belt wrestling, will be included in the program of the BRICS Games. This was announced at a press conference by the first Deputy Minister of Sports of Tatarstan Khalil Shaykhutdinov.

“We had the opportunity to promote Koresh Belt Wrestling - we managed to include it in the BRICS games. The world will learn about our national sport. I consider this decision very important and necessary”- he said.

According to him, qualification competitions will be held before the competition, according to the results of the Russian national koresh team.

The BRICS Games will take place on 12-24 June, 2024 in Kazan.
